Casey Key is an island resort area on the west side of Florida about mid-way, just below Sarasota with a fantastic Jetty that opens out to the Gulf of Mexico.

The scenery around Casey Key is full of lush palms, tropical flowers, birds and sea life.  There are several hotels, resorts and bungalows to rent including Casey Key Resort where we sometimes dock our 2001 Chaparral Sunesta 233, most of the time.  Guests of this fabulous resort can avoid stresses of traveling to other locations to rent a deckboat at Casey Key, just step out to the bay side, jump in, untie and take off into the gorgeous aqua blue waters of the Sarasota Intracoastal Waterway that leads north to Sarasota and south to Gasparilla Sound and Islands.
